In the last week I have read all the DB via email

I have looked at produsage from my classmates and have learned a lot!!

I have picked up a lot of new resources this summer and have truly enjoyed the challenges of blogging.
Wishing Dr. Dennen a good vacation-unwired. (Does the Kindle count?)

Prompt Week 6

Reflect on what you have learned in the class and how you will use it professionally as both a lifelong learner and an instructional systems professional (or whatever field you’re in).

I have learned some new Web 2.0 tools. OK a lot of new tools and became reacquainted with some tools I had not really considered very useful to me(wikis in general) and began writing a blog that I curiously enjoyed writing, A lot!!

I will on a personal level reconsider uses of blogs and Facebook. On a professional level I have learned to walk around a tool a few times before passing judgment, case in point , foursquare. When others in the class began imagining other uses, such as field trips and museum applications, I did the smack to the forehead over it! I must remember not to dismiss things so readily.

As a trainer, I can see some of the applications being useful as classroom entities, but can't judge how things will be handled in our field offices in regards to 2.0.

USA Today says we spend a lot of time...

Time spent on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube grows

According to this, social networking is truly occupying our time, somehow I am not surprised, as I seem to be doing this type of activity a lot. And work, And attend classes.....what did I used to do?

Well almost through with this week.
I finished and posted Produsage assignment
I read the DB's and responded to a few, as well as posting an opinion or two.
I was very fortunate and attended the WebEx session some of the class had on Thursday. It was a very positive experience.
Wrote some Blog posts, including this week's response question.
I have been joining wiki pages as requested, and reviewing classmates projects.
Caught a little sunburn and chased sea critters at St. George Island.
